Adhir calls 12-hr bandh

BEHRAMPORE: Minister of state for railways Adhir Chowdhury has called a 12-hour bandh in Murshidabad on Wednesday to protest the police FIR in connection with the vandalism at the district magistrate's bungalow last Thursday.
"We will not tolerate the police activity to stop our movement against the torture and death of Safikul," said the minister.
Trinamoool candidate Humyun Kabir said 'we will campaign on the day of congress bandh according to fixed meetings, people of Rejinagar will not support it and they know why congress is calling such movement.'
